NFL Week 6 is coming up as a few teams fight to stay in the race while others fight to stay atop the league.

For Chuck

The Colts surprised everyone last week when they defeated the Packers in a dramatic comeback win. Never underestimate the willpower of a team that is playing for an inspirational figure.

"I'm not into records, fellas"

Terry Bradshaw ripped Drew Brees after Brees broke Unitas' record for most consecutive games with a passing touchdown saying "(The record) didn't blow me away. I'm not much on that stuff ... I'm not into records, fellas. I'm just into winning football games." He continued by saying it was selfish to ask the NFL to allow coaches Sean Payton, Joe Vitt, and Mickey Loomis to watch him break the record at the stadium. Good to know Terry.

More Trouble in the Big Apple

This wasn't entirely unexpected. The Jets' Matt Slauson has been fined $10,000 for his chop block on Brian Cushing. A block which has knocked the star linebacker out for the season. As if the Jets didn't have enough on their hands.

RGIII ready?

According to Shanahan RGIII will most likely be playing on Sunday, just a week after being knocked out of the Falcons/Redskins game last week with a concussion. Fast recovery.

Belichick's Boys

-Belichick and the #1 ranked Patriots offense roll into Seattle to face the #1 ranked defense in the NFL. The Patriots are averaging 33 points and 440 yards a game and their absolute control over the clock is a sight to behold. It will be interesting to see just how good this Seattle defense is.

Megatron Concussed?
-Calvin Johnson certainly had his bell rung when Chad Greenway slammed into him (which earned him a fine of 21k) but the team didn't believe him when he said he was concussed. If a player says he's concussed you sit him down, that's simple.

Predictions:

Pittsburgh @ Tennessee
-The Steelers have a way of playing at their opponent's level every time. Even so I think they'll manage to beat the lowly Titans here. 31-21

Oakland @ Atlanta
-This Falcons team is extremely impressive this year. Playing at home against a weak Oakland...this is going to be an ugly one. 34-7.

Dallas @ Baltimore
-Baltimore has now won three in a row and Flacco (other than last week) looks good. I can't see the 'boys winning this one. 31-10.

Cincinnati @ Cleveland
-Rivalry time. The Ohio teams meet for this first time this season in what is sure to be a good game. The Browns have too much talent to keep losing...but they will anyway. 21-17, the Bengals taking this one.

St. Louis @ Miami
-The Rams are above .500 for the first time in what feels like forever. I'm looking forward to a closely fought game with two young QBs at the helm. 34-31 Rams.

Indianapolis @ New York Jets
-Who would have thought the Colts would beat the Packers? They're traveling to East Rutherford this week to play the reeling Jets. I expect another impressive victory by the Colts. 24-20.

Detroit @ Philadelphia
-Who can lose the most? Michael Vick or that Lions defense? It seems that every time the Lions defense are on the field they're giving up big plays. It also seems like every time Vick is on the field the other team has the ball. Should be an interesting game. 21-24 Eagles at home.

Kansas City @ Tampa Bay
-Why does it seem like every Browns reject goes to the Chiefs? Brady Quinn and the Chiefs head down to Tampa Bay to face the disappointing Buccaneers. 14-10 Chiefs.

Buffalo @ Arizona
-I honestly don't know why I even do predictions for the Bills. Cardinals win 35-14.

New England @ Seattle
The 1st ranked offense faces the 1st rank defense at Qwest Field this weekend. I don't see the Seahawks taking this one. Brady and company have a spectacular offense that I doubt really anyone can stop. Meanwhile the Seahawks are on pace for the least passing yards since 1992. If the Patriots front seven can hold Marshawn Lynch the Seahawks will be forced to pass. Wilson will make mistakes and the Patriots will capitalize. 31-21 Patriots.

GAME OF THE WEEK

-Time for an NFC Championship rematch. The Giants travel back to Candlestick park but this time I don't think they stand a chance. The Giants' defensive line has been...lackluster to say the least. Without a pass rush of any kind they'll be hard pressed to stop the 49ers. 27-13 49ers.

Minnesota @ Washington
-A very overachieving Vikings squad travels to Washington to face the typically weak Redskins. Look for a lot of plays to Harvin in a game that I don't see the 'skins taking. 27-21 Vikings.

Green Bay @ Houston
-Last year we would have said that the Packers have no chance in this game. This year I'm saying the Packers aren't going to win. The Texans are currently undefeated and going strong. The Packers are floundering and just went through a devastating loss to the Colts. 28-24 Texans.

Denver @ San Diego
-Two teams looking to rebound after disappointing losses. The Broncos were looking for a close game with New England but it was clear from the beginning that the Patriots would win that game. The Chargers struggled against a Saints squad that had been winless. I still don't trust the Chargers and so I'm taking the Broncos in this match. 34-21.
